Law Day (Early May every year; May 11-13, 2010)

• The Bar Foundation supplies transportation to the local schools so their students may attend the Law Day activities (May 7, 2009 at the Civic Auditorium); your generous donation to the 501(c)(3) Foundation may be tax deductible and would enable more schools to participate in Law Day especially in these economic times. • Sponsors are always needed for the Law Day Student events or for the Law Day Luncheon (May, 2010 at Brookside Golf & Country Club); speaker: Mr. Jonathan Shapiro, Esq. (writer for Boston Legal). College or technical schools or other career information would be especially welcome at the school events on May, 2010; while the luncheon is primarily attended by local attorneys, judges and civic leaders.

Annual Meeting: The annual meeting is held during the first week of November each year.The annual business meeting usually includes a State of the Court Report from the local court, the State of the Bar from our current president, and elections of new Board of Governors members. Mixers: Mixers are the main social events of the Bar. Everyone is invited and welcome to come.

• Barristers' Mixers: Your business can sponsor a Mixer by paying the cost at a local restaurant, by having it at your place of business or by catering the event at an office. • Paralegals' Mixers: Your business can sponsor a Mixer by paying the cost at a local restaurant, by having it at your place of business or by catering the event at an office. Conference Center: Sponsor a conference room at the SJCBA Conference Center. Opportunities:

• $5,000 - Name one of three (3) individual rooms in honor of someone. Display their portrait and SJCBA will provide a sponsorship plaque.
• $2,500 - Large plaque on "Wall of Distinction."
• $1,000 - Approximately 8" x 6" plaque on "Wall of Distinction."
• $   500 - Approximately 6" x 4" plaque on "Wall of Distinction."
• $   250 - Approximately 4" x 2"  nameplate on "Wall of Distinction."
• $   100 - Approximately 2" x 1" nameplate on "Wall of Distinction."

MCLE: Sponsor an MCLE event by setting up a course, donating staff expenses to the committee or section offering a course, or by making a donation to the Committee.
