The San Joaquin County Bar Association's official publication, the Across the Bar, is published monthly, except for the combined June/July issue. The Across the Bar is free with your membership. The newsletter is also available by subscription at $50.00 per year for non-members.

The Across the Bar Committee meets monthly to brainstorm ideas on what could be of interest to the membership, and what changes happened in the legal community since our previous edition in order to keep our members informed and facilitate their practices. However, any member of the Association can submit articles for publication. All submissions are welcomed, as well as ideas for future stories. Our goal is to have a newsletter that reflects the interest of those who practice in our county.

The submission of articles and photographs to the Across the Bar will be deemed an authorization and license by the author to publish the material in the magazine. All articles submitted are subject to editing.

For advertising rates and specifications, please contact Buethe Communications at (209) 464-8707. The publication is distributed to all our members (attorneys, legal professionals, Superior Court judges, law libraries and others interested in the advancement of law and justice.)

Articles and announcements are due by the 12th day of the month preceding publication in a digital format. Paper submissions will not be accepted. To submit an article or to obtain more information, please e-mail atb@sjcbar.org.
