Annual Events

The Annual Meeting of the San Joaquin County Bar Association is held in November. The event is a luncheon during which new members of the Board of Governors are elected. Traditionally, the Presiding Judge of the San Joaquin Superior Court gives a "State of the Court" address, and the President of the San Joaquin County Bar Association gives a "State of the Bar" address. Certificates of appreciation are awarded to the outgoing Board of Governors, and the gavel is passed from the President of the Bar Association to the President - Elect.
